Update Antwatch 2008: I was able to get my hands on some of the Terro liquid and placed 6 traps in my vehicle and under the hood. I also took the car to get washed yesterday. Results this morning, no visible groups of ants or trails of ants leading to the vehicle. It would appear that, for now at least, the invaders have relinquished control of my car. Many thanks to everyone for their input and jokes, they made the situation much more tolerable.

They're just in hiding... They'll come back when you least expect it. :P
Glad you got it resolved... I would totally freak if that happened to be... I'd be the idiot to pull over and refuse to drive the car until they were gone. Rofl...

Here I come!
Well, there's ants and a chipmunk so far. At least you didn't find one of these in your car. He actually caused 1,000 dollars in damage chewing thru the fuel line and electrical wires on some guys freshly repaired f-150. Feel better?

I'd avoid fogging because of the potential damage and and a fogger will only kill any ants that are exposed to it. Baits like Terro can be difficult to use and apply in a car without making a mess. You might look at other ant stations like raid which are a little neater. As with all bait type traps, you will need patience.

This dude had a 6-7 foot python snake living under his car

A very strange thing happened to me today.
Just after lunch, building security telephoned me and informed me that they had found a snake under my car. They requested me to move my car so that they could catch the snake. I reached my car just in time to see them to remove the snake from under my car. It was a python measuring some 6 to 7 feet long. Part of the body was bloated like it ate something big. I took a picture using my mobile phone. See attached.
Building management was certain that the snake was transported there by my car as, according to them, there was no way for the snake to reach the 7th floor carpark unless it took the lift. The chauffeurs who were resting near my car also said the same thing. They were there when I arrived for work. If any snake had travelled to my car, they would have spotted it. In fact, they claimed to have smelled something like petrol from my car. But when they came to my car to investigate, they were shocked to find a snake underneath it.
Looking back, I had 4 days ago on Sunday noticed a strange knocking sound seemingly coming from the undercarriage of my car while I was driving past the National Stadium. I have been driving this car for 9 years so any sound that is other than ordinary would not have escaped me. It was different enough to cause me to stop my car at the nearest bus-stop to investigate. I thought it might be a loose wheel or something, or something might be stuck under my car. I found nothing.
Then since Monday or Tuesday, the air-con vents on the left half of my car started to blow hot air while the right side continued to blow cold air. It did seem a little odd to me but I thought the aircon vents were not working properly. Anyway, as I am going to scrap my car soon, I did not bother.
Now I wonder if the snake had climbed into the aircon vent and rested there for the past few days!!!
By the way, my office colleagues had a field day trying to figure out all sorts of combinations to buy lottery. I was strongly advised to buy Toto which was at $1.5 million today. I felt compelled to buy. Alas, I did not have a single matching number.
