Plasti dipping my front grill

I just finished plasti-dipping the emblems and the grill on my wife's 2008 Rav4. I'm about to plasti dip the grill on my WDP 2004 TL but I'm trying to decide the best way to go about it. I'd like to dip the outer chrome area white and the middle black, either leaving the "A" logo chrome or plasti-dipping it white.

What is the best order to do it in? Does dry plasti dip come up if you try to tape it off to spray adjacent to it? The plan is to tape off everything but the silver crossbar, spray that black, let it dry, then mask off the middle part of the grill and plasti-dip the outer chrome trim white. But I'm afraid I won't be able to put masking tape on the black dipped part.

Here's a few pics of the wife's Rav4, if anyone is interested (just finished completely blacking out the grill but haven't uploaded the pics yet):

That looks really good. That looks like just a one-step process though. I'm going to be plasti-dipping over something that has already been dipped. Like say in that second pic, if you were now going to plasti dip the chrome trim white, or some other color. Would the black stuff come up when you removed the masking tape?

I have the trim and just the center bar. I left the gunmetal color bc it matches the A-Spec lip and I love the look. This is the only decent pic I have.

apply the tape lightly and you will be fine.

First grille was done for almost 4 months. Second for 4-5 months and neither had a single chip

over time the plastidip is going to crater in very very tiny spots, just like the paint on your bumper. But the good thing is you can just peel it up and re apply it. I've had mine on for a few months now and only a few tiny flecks have worn off.
