Pictures Enkei LM1 18" Wheels Installed

Finally got the Wheels, Tires, and a little Zaino on the car. The Wheels are Enkei 18", (Enkei makes wheels for Acura), Tires are Falken FK451 245/40-18. I went with the Falkens instead of the Yokos because they were a little quiter. Need a couple more coats of Zaino, but too many playoff games right now.

Excellent Choice

Great looking wheels. How do you find the ride/handling? Any vibes?

Only drove from Dealers to home, 25 miles. Corners much better. May be a little firmer but very acceptable. These tires are just a little taller and fills wheel wells a little better. Speedometer will be a little off. Speedo says 65 actual 66.

The wood grain was Dealer Installed. Everything matches the factory stuff.

They look good, but not that different from the stock wheels.

Rbraud,

Your rims look great! I have a few questions if you don't mind:

1. Any reason you went with Falken FK451's over the ST115's? I bought a set of the OEM Acura 18" rims from eBay and am strongly considering the ST115's rather than the Acura-recommended Yoko ES100's.

2. Any problems going with a 245 tire size rather than 235? A tire size of 235/40/18 is recommended for the 18" Acura rims, but I was thinking of going with a 245 size instead to provide more rim protection.

Thanks!

Tom

I went with the Falkens for two reasons. The Dealer had already installed the tires and I like the way they looked. The other reason was just a gut feeling. The only down side to the bigger tire is the speedometer is off a little. When it reads 65 your really going 66. Not enough for me to worry about and the Dealer is looking to see if the speedometer can be adjusted.

Rbraud-

Would you be able to e-mail me a couple of pictures? tgt624824@tds.net

Considering the LM's myself, and I'd love to see what they look like.

Thanks!

Hey Craig -

This post is from back in January when the gallery was still up. I brought it back to life because I'm considering the LM's and am hoping to get some pics.
