Picture request, WDP guys halp. lol

Do any of you WDP guys have tail lights with the outer areas red and LED arears clear? I was thinking that'd look pretty neat. I'm going to research here and find out how much they run and from who and I think that'll be my next modification.

I'd really prefer to keep the outer areas red. The Typs S tails look nice but I prefer the red/red sidemarker look against my white bastard. lol

So much for leaving it alone, damn it. I love cars, I cannot hide it any longer.

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the 07-08 Base Tail Lights?

Thanks for the replies. I'm referring to my 06 Base tail lights. I'd like to keep everything red but where the LEDs illuminate, for those I'd like them clear to contrast with the car. I can try to modify a picture on MS paint but it will be horrible. lol

That is exactly what I'm looking for, thank you! I think that ties the tail lights into the WDP color really well. I really like the red but it'd be nice to break it up a little.

Are the 07/08 base tail lights just a simple unbolt, remove/install new? I'll check the garage for direction as well here.

Yup, direct replacement.

Just buy 07/08 base tails and put em on =)

You'll have to swap over the LED board.

07/08 base tails are my absolute favourite on WDP also!

Excellent, found my information in the garage and now I'll keep an eye out. It seems the 07/08 base tail lights are a little bit of a pretty penny, we'll have to see what pops up.

Depo ones (on eBay) aren't a bad price. Like $130 or something I heard? The only difference between OEM ones and Depos I heard is that the clear part on depos are a bit darker.

OEM ftw though lol

Try a WTB thread in the black market

I'm with you there, for items like these I'm a fan of OEM as well. Nothing fits like OEM, especially when you're talking about a tail light that's designed to sit flush with it's surroundings.

I'll put up a thread and see where that takes things.

Oh wow, they do seem to sit in there snug. Do they have any condensation issues that are known?
