Picking up my new TL in two days -- advice?

I'm picking up my new TL (and trading in my BMW330 -- I'll take any praise applause the TL owners want to send my way; for the BMW fans, spare me...)

Is there anything I need to ask my dealer about my new car? Like if if there are known issues that have been fixed, etc. prior to driving it off the lot?

I ask, cuz I speak from experience, when I picked up my BMW a couple years ago, I later found out there were a bunch of things that I could have asked the dealer to program into the car (like automatic door locking at 5 mph), that after the initial purchase I'd be charged for.

Thanks for your thoughts and words of encouragement....

Congrats and welcome to the club! Be sure you pick it up during daylight hours.......you may not be able to see scratches and such during nightime. Also, thoroughly go over every inch of the car (esp. all the electrical functions) before driving it off the lot. And make sure you go over all the documentation one last time to be sure there are no last minute "hidden" charges you don't know about. And do not let them talk you into buying unnecessary stuff like rustproofing, Scotchguard, and "additional" longterm warranties. Good luck! (BTW, why did you trade in an awesome car like the 330 if I may ask?)

Whats wrong with the long-term warrenties? I know the standard is 4 years, but why not extend it for another 3 years or so..?
