Believe it. I don't make it a practice to run red lights. I am a safe driver with only one ticket in fifteen years and no accidents. However during commute time I've been behind cars in an intersection and depending how fast or slow the front car is going you can be in the middle of an intersection before you know it when the signal turns red. I sprayed this product on both front and back plates and it saved me a couple times. I have seen the flash go off indicating to me that the camera just took a picture of my car. but no ticket. I was skeptical at first but now I am a believer.

The local news did a story on it last year and the Transit folks said that when a plate is blocked using a shield or any other device they use the negative to get the plate number. They showed an example and sure enough, the plate was totally visible then.

They tested this stuff on the show Myth Busters. Not only the spray, but a whole bunch of other ideas people asked them to test, and all of them were busted.

Actually the spray works.. I just saw a news article on a local news channel that tested one product and the CHP even confirmed that it works...

...Although if a negative of the image reveals the number... then I'd say HAHA

one flaw to this product is that when headlights hit the plate at night, it gives back a pure white (which eludes the camera), but then you can see that it is on there. If the police were to figure this out, they could give you a ticket for obstucting the view of a license plate.
