People that bought from Atlanta area dealers?

Hello,
Just wondering the prices that people paid for the 04 TL from dealers in the Atlanta area.
I'm thinking about getting one but I have a funny feeling that they won't budge from MSRP since the car is selling so well.

Thanks

Acura Carland took $500 off a non-Navi. I also have $100 coupons for referrals, so if you go there e-mail me and I will split the $100 with you. I also think they may take a little more off if you negotiate harder witht hem, I gave in too quick as they matched my Carmax trade-in price which surprised me and saved me a few hundred in sales tax. Ask for Bob Halik. Als their Service department is excellent, they finally got my back deck quiet. Avoid Nalley Acura, they are rude and not very customer service oriented.

Did you ever try Ed voyles acura on peachtree industrial?
I was hoping that they would take off more then 500 lol. From what I've seen on the forum, people have been getting like 2000 off. Anyone ever tried boranco (sp?) acura?

I have heard from people that are saying that all Atlanta Acura dealers are sticking to their guns and not dealing very much. I dont know if it is collusion but it sure does seem like it. I would definitely suggest trying some surrounding towns, maybe Birmingham and Chattannoga, I am sure you can find a much better deal there. Baranco has the best service award but I dont think they are dealing either.

Picked up my anthracite/ebony/non-navi last saturday - got a few hundred off sticker and made them throw in a rear deck lid and a free window tinting. Also got coupons for first oil change and some other % of service - plus the referral thingy.

I never really thought I would buy a car from Acura Carland (don't know why - just a gut feeling) - but after talking to some of the other dealers in the area, Carland guys actually seemed to be pretty decent people.

If you go in there, talk to Matt Kirby. Good guy and the boy can drive a damn car :diablotin

tell him Mr. Wilsey sent you

i've been in contact w/ someone in augusta, but since i'm not yet ready to make a deal i haven't made an offer yet. but he seemed much more willing to deal then from what i've read on these boards of atlanta dealers compared to the rest of the country.

Never got to them. I had heard mixed reviews about their service and I like to buy from the place I plan on having the car serviced.

For the best deal in Atlanta area, call Cardell Burton at Acura of Augusta. His number is 1-800-851-5158. Tell him I (Zahed Khan) referred you since I picked up my car 2 weeks ago. He gave me a good price. Whatever he gives you, make a counteroffer. I suggest before you call him, know what price you want to pay. All his cars come with mud guards, cargo tray, and wheel locks. He sells a lot of cars, so he should be able to get you what you want within a week. They deliver for $250 although I recommend you to pick it up. (They brief you on the NAVI and also you can inspect the car). I do get a referral so please mention my name. My referral bonus comes from his pocket, so it shouldn't affect your price. Remember, make a reasonable counteroffer to whatever he quotes you. Feel free to PM if you have questions.

Before you call him, know what price you are willing to pay. I was only quoted 500 off MSRP at other places. I gave him a lower number than what I wanted to pay and we met in the middle. In my opinion, I paid what I thought was a good deal and this was after calling 50+ dealers. Cardell is nice and helpful, even though I bothered him a lot. Using my name should help you get a better price and the extra money I get won't hurt, but he won't "jack up" the price if you mention my name. The only harm it can do is save you a bit of money.

Regarding Ed Volyles, I test drove the car here. The salesperson was helpful, but I don't think he took me seriously since I am young. They seem very stiff on the price. They built up the TL to be a great car which people are yanking off the lot for more than sticker and they expected me to believe it and pay for it. Anyway, as you are aware, I took my business elsewhere.

So I'm guessing that i'll be SOL if I make an offer that's 31k at any of the acura dealers in Atlanta. I test drove the tl a few months ago. Great car!

Post Atlanta dealerships

I just got my 04 TL 2 weeks ago. I contacted all 4 dealerships in the Atl area. All of them would give approx $1400-1800 off of MSRP. I bought mine at Ed Voyles. Knew exactly what I wanted, my salesperson was very nice and helpful. I had to order it and wait 5 weeks because of the color combo I wanted. Would recommend. E-mail me with any questions.

Atlanta Dealerships

6 MT = 6 speed Manual Transmission aka. Stick. Which made the color combo harder to find, which hurt my negotiating position... a little.

By the way, if any one of you guys ever saw a silver maxima honking and flashing my lights crazy at you, it was probably me admiring your car. I seem to druel whenever I see one of those new acura tl's. I'm in love with that car. LOL

soundgate is working on "Aux" for IPOD.

My shop spoke to soundgate, they clearly state that XM would not work...but are working on "something" where we can have both. My shop is suppose to let me know when its sorted out. If anyone hears anything first please post.

Don't use Baranco for service. I used to use them cuz I live down here on the south side, and Baranco just sucks.. they BS you in telling you about problems. They leave grease prints. They are unprofessional. Their wash jobs suck, rather them not wash it than take the quicky free one. And they ding up your wheels when they swap the wheels around.

I am going to be using Ed Voyles next since I have heard good about their shop.

I bought mine at Acura of Athens since I got my 2000 tl also from them, but they won't be seeing me again either. For sales or Service. They got my car from August when I was hunting for it.
