Paying twice for XM stereo.

I have XM radio in my home. If I get XM in a TL can you use the same subscription or do you have to sign on for another account? I realize that the unit that came with the home XM has an individual code but it is made to be removed and put into a boom box, car stereo, or home stereo. Why would I want to pay an additional $10 a month just for the occasional use in the car? Something seems off here.

Looks like XM radio has a deal for people with more than one xm radio. Check out the link below.

one or the other

you cannot use the current subscription for the portable one for your TL unless you completely stop using it and move the subcription to the TL.

one subscription per unit.

it's like 6 or 7 bucks/mo for the second subscription as opposed to 10.

Did you have to buy a receiver for XM at home?

I see they have it for the PC too. Very cool!

Yes, I also bought a car kit that I can use in my CL and S2000. I bought it from a vendor on ebay.
