Paint for scratches?

Is the dealership the place to get paint for a TL? How much $ is a small bottle of touch up paint?

I hear that the paint pens you can get on ebay work better

very true. The pens are easy to control.

Paint Pens

I use:

(1) touch-up bottle paint - $6.25 at Acura dealer.
(2) touch-up paint pen - $9.95 from Chip-Mender.

Pens are great for touching up very small scratches and stone nicks. You can more easily control the application of the paint without blobbing too much. It's so easy that you can touch-up after every wash of the car if needed. Because I commute 110 miles a day on the interstate, my TL gets a lot of small nicks.

You can get the same result with bottle paint if you thin it and then use a fine tip quality brush, and then clean the brush. It's just more work than with the pen.
