paint defect?

I was cleaning my car the other day and noticed a very slight discoloration
on the hood of my car. It is in two spots and is only noticeable if the light
hits the car just right. Even then you have to really strain to see it.
Anyone have any idea what it is? The paint is smooth as glass to the touch.

I had a big cloudy patch in the middle of my hood and several places, where there seemed to be some sort of foreign object debris that was painted over, like metal shavings trapped under the paint.....great QA Honda!!!

In the second and third picture it is almost in the middle. The fact that it is so hard to notice is why I am not overly concerned. The light has to be hitting the car just right and you have
to really look hard and move around to even see it. I showed it to the salesman and he brought out the manager over service and the body shop both. He told me what he thought it was and said if I wanted it repainted, it was under warranty and no problem.
They did advise that I wait a little while to decide, just to see if it gets any worse.
