OTD Price for a an 08 TLS - Good deal?
Just curious to see how good or bad a negotiator I've been.. I'm about to close the deal for a Carbon Bronze TL-S 2008 for 36593 OTD in California/Bay Area with financing or 35318 purchase price for leasing. Includes backup sensors, body side molding, door edge trim, trunk tray..
How good or bad is this?

in other words a totally useless product, gotcha, especially if it beeps. I park in a very very tight garage, one wrong move, and I'm losing either a front or rear fender, but so far so good
The back up camera works pretty well, and you should turn your head anyways to see where you are reversing to...
Advice, when shopping for a car, do not add such pointless addons...they should be either included free after you've negotiated an OTD price, they should not increase the OTD price, thats the whole point of incentives.
2nd, you can always purchase those addons quite cheap.
36K is a pretty good price, I live in NYC, so that's a def. good price.
Wish you all the best in your car shopping experience..peace

Well, thats encouraging! Thanks.
I do have some nitpicks - no ipod interface that I got used to in my existing car, rear seats dont fold down, rear seat is really only for 2 people, not 3.. but its a great car!
I am struggling with the color choice - Black or Carbon Bronze.. the latter is very classy.. but I've always owned black cars - they are sportier.
I am talking to two dealerships and was able to get them to better each other. I will post the dealership information tomorrow, lemme close the deal!

34k OTD? That means you're getting the TL-S at $31k before Tax/Title/License.
I think you when ppl say $34k that's before tax.
I got mine for $34,650

I got mine for 36K OTD in the Bay Area but that is without the extras. But then again, I don't need any of them since the car already comes with back-up camera.

Having regrets not getting Type S but they didn't have any on the lot and was afraid wouldn't get a better deal.
Have many mods planned, most importantly, the 235/35/19 rims but really afraid of rubbing with full load, especially, if drop w/ Comptech? What's the best quality drop package? My last ride blew out stock shocks w/ Eiback pro-kits. Definitely, don't want that on my new baby.

I just got a quote in the Northern VA area for TLS for $33882 from Acura's Internet Department. Doesn't include TTD though. Does anyone know if you can haggle with Acura's Internet Department? I've gotten 4 different quotes with a difference of about $2K between them all.

If TL-S are going for $31k and $34k OTD...they must be selling the base models around $27-$28

I wonder what's the interest rate you guys are getting though at this time. Mine was 1.9% I doubt they are giving you that rate and that price...

08 TL Type S A-Spec
Hmmmmmm. I think realistically.......a $38,940 TL Type S (MSRP) can be had for INVOICE ($35, 832) MINUS any/all factory to dealer cash (purchase only, not on leases) which is usually $1,500 - $2,000 = $33,832 PLUS tax/title/lic/fees.
Why would a dealer sell a BRAND NEW (non-demo) TL Type S for less than invoice? I can see maybe.......maybe.......$33,000 to $33,500 PLUS tax/title/lic/fees IF THE DEALER was overstocked AND/OR desperate to move a car.
I had to play SEVERAL dealers against each other to get to INVOICE on my 08 Type S. Just my

Those are some great prices on a TL-S. It may be time to buy an '08. I would image the '09 prices will be much higher.

Those seem about right, I emailed all of those dealers in CA and those prices seem to be about the same prices that I was quoted. Unfortunatley I live in UT and had a trade, so by the time I factored in driving to CA and having to pay 8% sales tax it made more sense to just buy from my local dealer. The bad thing is that there are only 2 Acura dealers here in the state and I think that they are in collusion with each other. After 2 days of negotiating the best I could do was $34,900 plus tax/title/license. That did include, wheel locks, a moon roof visor, trunk tray, colored splash guards, and all season mats. And I didn't get too screwed over on my trade so I was actually pretty happy at the end of the day.
