Opinions on rear lip spoiler

Has anyone bought an aftermarket trunk lid lip spoiler from ebay or similar. They are like 60-100 bucks on there. I understand they adhere to the car with basically double stick tape. Has anyone gone this route and if so, do you recommend it? If not, I am pretty sure I am not crazy enough to drill holes in my trunk myself to install a pointless piece of plastic, however do you guys know if I can order one through the stealership and have them install it for me if those ebay ones are crap?

Try searching "ebay deck lid spoiler", there are a million threads on it. Im pretty sure most people would recommend going with the OEM deck lid, its bigger, will last longer and overall just looks better, and the stealships can definitely order it and install it but try hondaacuraworld.com first to see if that price is better....

What year? Are you going for the type-S decklid spoiler, or the 04-06 Aspec lip?

Yes, you can get it from the dealer, and they come prepainted too (provided they make your color for the type you want).

Installation wise, if you have an 04-06 and want to install the 04-06 Aspec spoiler, yes they will. If you want Type-S spoiler and want it installed on an 04-06, unlikely that they will.

Plus dont recommend using Double Sided tape to install.

Here is info, since your a noob possibly didnt search. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ecklid+spoiler

I have an OEM WDP Type-S rear deck lip that was on my car for about an hour (seriously). Not sure what color your car is, but if you're interested make me an offer.
