Ok guys....you know how the TSX has that chrome window trim around the window borders....the G35 also has that look. I think that would look awesome on the TL, add some nice contrast.

What do you guys think, and what would be the best way to add that. I've asked a couple of autobody shops and they said it couldn't be done. I'm of the opinion that anything can be done, especially something like this...doesn't seem that hard. Just need to cut the chrome trim in the right size and glue it on.

Your thoughts?

One of the reasons I LIKE this TL is that they went with the sporter "One color" look rather than a vain attempt at posing to be a luxury car. With other makes you have to spend extra cash to get the "sport" look (ie. BWM, Benz, Jag, etc). IMHO I like it this way but do what makes you happy. Might be a little hard to get it done though (take peices off, take to shop, wait the three days to have them cromed, spend $800 for the look, etc).

 

Any look that a G35 has should not be put on the TL, that would only increase the chances of it looking uglier

 

While I do like the look of chrome, the TL has next to none, so I prefer to keep it that way. Any additional chrome would seem out of place to me.

 

Depends on the color of the TL I guess.

But instead of chrome, why not aluminium trim around the windows to match the grill and interrior trim?
