I need your advice on which service manual I should purchase. I've seen a handful of different options by searching here, but I want to make sure I get the best option. I have an 07 Type S and I'm a "do-it-yourselfer" for all maintenance and mods. I found a couple on HandA-Accessories website but wasn't sure which way to go. They have a manual for the 2007 model and one for the 2007-2008 model. The 2007 model manual is $58.80 and the 2007-2008 book(s) is $162. What gives?

 

Not sure, but based on pricing at helminc.com I assume the cheaper manual is the service manual and the more expensive manual is the electrical troubleshooting manual.

 

Yeah, I got a reply from HandA on this. The reason for the price hike on the 07-08 manual is because of pricing changes inlisted by the publisher. The 2007 only manual will still include everything that the 07-08 set offers, but will not touch on the 08 model, obviously.
