One more question, you guys.

I was ready the threads about sea foam. If it really helps I will because the car has 8X,XXX miles on it. So it could use it. But Im a little sketchy about doing it My question has any one that's DONE IT THEMSELVES regret doing it or it's caused problems or it wasn't a smart thing to do. Thanks again

did it back in the day with my white 2000 honda accord 4cyl coupe it had around 115k or maybe more. a bunch of white smoke came out the back. barely felt the difference didnt think it was worth it. figured i keep my car very clean and always do oil and fluid changes on time plus some fuel injection cleaner here and there is all you need. never did it again car last me 320,000 miles. never did any engine work just change the thermostat once.

I've seen issues with it on other cars. It's your car and your money so do what you want. However, the statement that it has 80k miles so it could use it is false. If you must use it, put it in the gas tank. Totally unnecessary unless you have gotten a batch of bad gas or regularly run regular but it won't hurt anything in there. In the oil it's a solvent. What this means is greater wear. Will you notice a negative effect right away, no. Over time, yes. Through the intake, no need unless you've had serious engine issues in the past like oil burning or running very rich for years on end. Besides cylinder wall washdown, you're running something through the intake tract that's only supposed to flow air. If there are any solids in there, do you really want them going through the combustion chamber?

Change the oil regularly, run premium gas, and keep it in good tune and you will never require this stuff and it will never benefit you in the slightest.

I wish everyone had the opportunity to tear a 100,000 mile modern engine down to prove that this stuff is pointless.
