Ok, Im trying to respray my fender and front bumper (WDP). Id like to know how many coats of pearl acura shoots. The pearl determines how good of a match it will be to all the other parts of the car. Like I said this is a long shot but someone must know this.

I'm very familiar with all common Acura colors like WDP. I use to apply 2 med-light coats of the pearl, and the match would be very good. You could do a let down test panel, 1 w/ 1 pearl coat, 1 w/ 2 pearl coats, 1 w/ 3 pearl coats, then observe the best match.

Your not going to get a good match with just painting the fender, without blending the door and hood. Industry standard would be to blend the hood and door, especially for a tri-coat. I wouldn't bother painting it yourself if your not going to panel blend.
