Okay to cut Trunk Liner?
My TL came with the Protection Package, which includes a plastic liner for the trunk. This is fine with me, but I was looking at the cargo netting today and I noticed that four of the eight attach points are underneath the liner, beneath pre-formed circles on the liner. Is it okay to cut holes in the liner at these points so that I can attach the cargo netting? I don't usually carry messy stuff in the trunk, but I doubt that holes around these points will allow lots of dirt to spread anyway.
Thoughts? Has anyone done this? Or do you just toss the liner/leave it as is?
Thanks.

Don't cut the entire circle out!!!! You can do 2 things that will keeps the purpose of the trunk liner. Unscrew the clips to hold down the cargo net, they should have sharp points on them. Put the liner in place and screw down, it should pierce though and hold it in place. The other thing you can do is cut an X into the circles for the liner and screw in though the X.

I haven't heard of this plastic trunk liner before? Is it just clear plastic over your carpet? How does it look? You don't have pics of this do you? I can search for some, but I'm curious now...
