Stock rims might look weird but I don't think you need a drop for it to look good.

^^Agreed. Get some spacers if dropping with stock wheels so you don't have the sunken battleship look.

I just thought about this yesterday as well! I have enough $ to buy the aspec but decided not to because I dont have extra $ to buy new rims and drop the car
It was a really tough decision not to buy it because of how cheap it is in the GroupBuy and that aspec kit do change the dynamic look of your car. However, I'd recommend getting a nice set of rims and drop the car first, I've seen that done without the aspec and it still looks pretty sick.
I don't know what's the color of your car but since mine is WDP, this link helped me a lot: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/got-wdp-white-diamond-pearl-602234/
There are some cars that have aspec but no drop and stock rims, I'm just not digging it

wtf, ya'll are weird.

money does not grow on trees.
buy what ever you like and can afford.

if you want the kit, get the kit. who seriously gives a fuck what others think....

and im with sharksbreath....

you really dont need a set of rims to pull off the aspec kit.
the aspec kit changes the way the car looks.
ya'll are weird to the maxxxxx.

You talking about the A-Spec suspension kit or body kit?

If body kit, it looks just fine (awesome) with stock rims and no drop --- that is how I have it and everyone knows my car is fucking hawt

I had my kit with the aspec suspension, which isnt much a of a drop from stock height in my opinion for about a year, and it looked awesome on the car. When I dropped it..it looked better...and now that i have the 19" rdx accessory rims on it...it looks even better...but IMO, it looks fine either way, if you want the kit, just go for it, its an improvement from the stock look.

STOP MAKING NEW THREADS ABOUT THE SAME SHIT!

You already posted this one yesterday:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/%2Apic-request%2A-2007-2008-wdp-w-aspec-kit-817222/

And you're pretty much asking the same question in this thread. Go to Google and search for pictures. It's really not that hard.

i had the kit only on my car for a while....then the suspension and wheels came later. wheels. But you gotta start somewhere. The car still looks sexy with the kit only..just my two cents!!

There's more to consider here than just the "look" when determining whether or not to get kitted... remember our cars are now out of production. You can't even get the damn little badges any more.

Regardless. I'm not sure what people are thinking when they say the car looks "weird" without a drop or rims. They are basically saying the car looks better without it at that point. So if you think the car looks better without it.. then don't get it. If the car looks better WITH it (which I'm sure you agree, a long with 99% of everyone in this forum) then get it! ESPECIALLY if you can afford it. If this is a staged upgrade, rims and a drop can come at any time and will be a lot more expensive than this anyway.

Yours to consider. Not even sure why this question had to be asked.

I agree with the poster above me, it's your car...do what you want!

I just bought the a-spec kit from Ack's groupbuy...I don't have the drop OR the wheels to go along with it just for the fact that I cannot afford to buy everything right now (sigh, one day...) I'm assuming my car will look pretty badass with just the kit anyway

I had only the kit before a drop. It looked sexier than just being stock.

I think it'll look good. A spec kit is subtle looking so it's fine by itself.

why wouldn't it be ok. A-spec kit can be a dealership installed option, and there are a lot of cars that have it without the drop.

I've been riding around with stock wheels, no drop, and an A-SPec kit for two months now...no problemo. I love it

i bought the a spec kit first and have been driving around on it at factory height with stock wheels and its killing me....that being said im used to riding around lowered on coilovers in my accord so when i walk to my car and see it at stock height still it bugs me...my next mod will definitely be coilovers

I love my aspec with stock wheels no drop...having a drop would make me worried too much about gettin up driveways and speed bumps. no thanks.

Boys, boys, boys....do we need a group hug here????

Chasingthecool-I've closed your other thread. Let's keep it simple-one thread for the same subject, OK!

Besides, you guys love this kind of topic. Everyone has an opinion about it. And yes, it's been discussed before-that's never stopped you from voicing your opinions in the past.....

I was rollin it with stock ride height for about 5 months or so.
At the time it didnt bother me that much but I'm glad I lowered it now though.

Really, the stock rims are probably one of the better options until you have a TON of money to throw at it.
