OK, done, done, done. New TL in my garage, here's the deal I got...

First off, I would like to thank the whole message board for all the help and information put out, THANK YOU!!!!

Finally! , an 04 TL Anthricite/Camel AT w/Nav is home where it belongs.............If ya smelll.....wait that's a different forum.

So here's the deal I negotiated (I know it's not the best deal in town, but down here in SoCal they ain't so cheap).

$500 off MSRP or $34,695(includes destination)
Protection Package (Mud Gaurds, Wheel Locks, Trunk Tray)Free
LoJack $500
6/100,000 Factory Warranty $955
A-spec Package(installed) $4300
and 3.64% intrest rate.
plus any parts or accessories for the first month at dealer cost plus 10%.

Also I paid for the A-spec at the service Dept. so it didn't add to the tax, license fees on the contract.

soooo, how did I do?

That's good, especially the ASPEC kit. Even on EBay they're going for $3800+frt, then you have to install it. I'm jealous...you got a great deal on a great car.

You did fine, grip.

Now be a good boy, and stay off the throttle for the first 1k miles!!!

Suggestion: take out the resulting frustration with a Zaino kit.

BrandHdriver, Zaino wouldn't give me a military discount so I went with an Adams Polish detail kit instead.

Zaino was my first choice though.

There's a thread down the list called "Zaino Test". The results weren't that impressive eventhough on darker cars Zaino came out great. So you may not be missing much not getting the Zaino.

the reason I got all that A-spec and stuff was thanks to Lincoln(or Ford) Had an 03 Navigator....or should I say Lemonator.

Yep, Ford bought it back, what a crapmobile that turned out to be.

I'll pass for now on the trade, but I would love to have a National sittin in the garage, congrats!

I've never heard of a 6 year/100k extended warranty. Mine is 7 yr/100k. Is there a deductable?

so there ended up being some mistakes with yesterday's contract so I had to go back today and resign a new one.

for my trouble I got a few more little discounts:

instead of $955 for the 6/100K 0 deductible factory warranty
I got it for $870 (apparently dealer cost)

instead of $500 for LoJack
I got the LoJack Early Warning for the same price.

and instead of 3.64% I got 3.59%

just some added info for those still negotiating.
