My Oil life remaining is 20%. How many miles do I have remaining? I am a conservative driver...car has 5700 miles...over half on interstates. Leaving on a 600 mile trip tomorrow.

I would change it before leaving. I like the 5k change schedule.

Based on your present rate of consumption, you are going 712.5 miles for each 10% decrease in oil life. An additional 600 miles would put you at approximately 10% at your present rate, but good highway miles will undoubtedly increase the mileage/percentage ratio.

I don't know if I'm saying that right, but I mean you will probably get more than 712.5 miles before your next 10% drop in oil life.

Based on the MID's advice for changing oil, it will be safe to go on a 600 mile road trip, but plan on getting your oil changed soon upon return.

If you wish to err on the side of caution, you could get the oil changed before your trip. Acura recommends listening to the MID, but the choice is up to you.
