'06 TL 5AT: Does the Oil Life Indicator count down in 1% increments (100%,99%, 98%, etc), or 5% increments (100%, 95%, 90%, etc.)? I have 500 miles on my odo and my Oil Life Indicator still shows 100%.

Counts down at 10% increments and then 5 after it had reached 20%.

I think 10%/5% idea is good idea. I'd get nervious seeing numbers drop by one.

HA! I've been nervous at the opposite. My previous vehicles (GMs) counted down 1% at a time...at least I knew it was working. Haven't seen any evidence of that on my new TL yet, but the posts on this thread now calm me down. Thanks, folks.

lol.. yeah thats what I thought initially (1% at a time). I was just thinking, man this oil is AWESOME, staying at 100% for such a long time till i saw 90% later.
