Oil Level Reset?

Just bought my used 2004 TL a month ago. The place where i bought from said they just did an oil change. They have their own mechanic shop so they did it themselves but didnt reset the oil % level back to 100%. I usually do all my oil changes myself and dont like taking it back to the dealership unless i have no choice. How can i reset the oil % level myself or do i have to take it back to Acura?

Thanks.

P.S. I hope i made sense with my question?

When it's on the oil level screen, press and hold the reset button for 10 (15?) seconds and it will say press reset to reset, or any other to cancel.

BTW - the answer to this was in your manual. May wantto read up if you haven't. There are all kinds of weird little features like that (that most people don't know about until someone on the thread talks about them)

There are three steps.

o Select A or B tripometer display (the one you don't care that it will be reset to zero).
o Select the Oil Life display on the MID.
o Press and hold the Reset button for 10 second (until the display changes to a question).
o Press and hold the Reset button again for 10 seconds until the MID changes.
o Press the Reset button.

Your Oil Life display should now show 100%.
