Oil change pointers

Oil change pointers
Just changed the oil! The filter is the RSX's filter (thin long one, not the short fat one) not the previous generation one (had to go change it). It will take 4.5 quarts. Regular oil wrenches are too big. I used a strap wrench. To reset the the oil monitor just press on the reset button for about 20 seconds (be patient if you hold it the oil reset screen will pop up) reset it and your done! My mileage is 5200.
PS: I used synthetic oil and I think I gained at least 20 HP!!!!
just kidding!!!

Yes, that's the way to reset it without paying extra money to ask stupid dealers doing this for you.

Yes, but what everyone wants to know is what oil did you use and what weight?

Mobil 1 0-20 will work just fine. It is sold at essentially all auto parts stores. Just to drive home the point, as long as it has the API seal, use regular oil and save $$$$.
