So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am getting rid of my 08 STi and looking to move into an 06 TL 6spd w/ Navi or an 07-08 TL-S 6spd. The problem I am having is the following, I love the TL but the dash on the TL-S and the back up camera have me nearly sold on that. Problem is though, the cars go for 27-30 with low miles. Now for about 19-22 I can pick up a nice low mile used 06 6spd w/ Navi but it wont have back up camera or those sweet gauges. Everything else more or less I can upgrade from the TL-S as per what I've seen on the site with the exception of the gauge cluster and the motor, BUT the kicker is I could also turn around and drop 6k into the car and get; Wheels, Coilovers, TL-S head/tail lamps, I/H/E and a CTSC and still pocket 2-4k depending on the deals I find. This seems like a no brainer and as I'm writing this post I am realizing that it seems the better choice is the latter, but I just wanted to get your opinions as now it seems that supercharging the TL-S is possible since subsonic did it. Will the .3 displacement gain make at all a difference?!??!

Oh and also, does the 6spd TL have an LSD? Does the TL-S have an LSD?!

Both TL 6MT / TL-S 6MT have LSD.

I would get a TL 6MT and modify that, both have excellent brakes and run closely in the 1/4.

if youre going to modify, get the TL. If youre going to keep it stock get the type-s

wow...this is new information to me! i always assumed the tl 6mt didnt have lsd, and it was kind of a perk to buying the type s!

I'd get the 06 TL. Aftermarket cam is $100/200 and not that hard to install.
