I have been surfing this site for awhile and enjoy the banter and the information I receive. I traded in my 05 TL, AT, No Nav for a Black 08 TLS, AT with 2135 mi on it. The 08 was a demo car, had minor road rash to both drivers side wheels, they are being fixed. I bought the road and wheel package because of past experiences with pot holes, I live in the Boston area. The car has been detailed and looks great. The dealer tried to sell me everything under the sun but I would only bite for the tire & wheel package, finally, believe it or not, he through "LoJack" in for nothing. He had a $500.00 coupon, I just had to pay the sales tax.
I bought the )8 TLS for $31,500, they gave me $14,500 for my 05 Tl with 55 K mi on it. I got a $7600.00 discount on the 08, I attribute this from reading the threads on this web site and monitoring other prices on ebay and the newspapers. The only thing I'm going to do to the car is to tint the windows. My grandson just turned sixteen and I took him for his learners permit last week, he insists the car will look "sick" with the windows tinted, and I agree! Nice upgrade i am also thinking of upgrading to a type S. NBP (nighthawk black pearl) is a great color!!
