Hi Guys,

So i was looking for a 05 and was not happy with the prices I was getting best I got was 34,900 for 05 with full body kit (under body kit all around and spoiler). by the way I am from Rochester, NY.. So I phoned dealers in Syracus, NY and one was willing to give me 06 with Navi, full body kit for 35,900. I tempted now.. so I phoned the Rochester guys and said that and they are willing to match it.. should I go for it or should I push it further with 2 guys...

Pls help me and give me some ideas

price might be still a little high. 34,900 seems ok if it with the kit installed. people are getting about 33,500 for navi model TL. the kit can be had for about 800(or less) shipped and installation is not that hard. don't let the dealer tell you about how long it takes and how much it cost to install. also when you say full kit do you mean with spoiler? cause the kit for 800 does not include this. i would say try and get 34,500 for the 06 car with kit.

well 34,900 is for a 05 not for 06. They said the body kit alone is 1900 or something..
Are u sure that I can get 2006 for 34,500 ??? I am living in Rochester, NY.. So one dealer. get it or leave it kinda stuff here.......

the TL's price was higher for 04's and some early 05's(cause it was a new model change) but most people are getting pretty good deals for the car. people have posted prices like i said for 33,500 without the body kit. If you do a search you will see that alot of people have purchased the kit for about 800 bucks. the dealer price of 1900 is complete bs if they are just referring to the body kit. even with installation people on this forum have gotten their local dealers to order and install for about 1100 bucks. so that would be about 300 for installation which is a bit much for relatively easy labor but coming from a dealer that would actually be ok. are there any other dealers besides those 2 near you?

Well I am in between Buffalo and Syracus. I also checkeed with Buffalo. They said 33,000 without the body kit for a 05... So its kinda sucks....

well u can get the car for 33K and order the kit separately and have just about any competent shop install it.

So ur sure that I can get the Body kit for 800 from these same dealers?

this is from Acura of Las Vegas, many people have gotten the kit from them.

Thx Caball. I think I am doing that I would try to reduce the price and then tell them to take of the 1900 or somthing that they are claiming for the body kit haa haa and get it from some where else.....

let see how it goes .... Thx for all the help.. what are the good places to go to get fix this kinda body kit. I mean like a chain of places around usa? or do I have to go to a dealer?

For what it is worth, I am from the 'Cuse and shopped Holtz & Crest but found the Albany dealership to be the most aggressive - this was about a year ago on an 05. Other boards members have found the Albany dealership to be quite rewarding as well. They were $1000 over invoice on a 6speed w/nav winter. Not sure how that matches up with the '06 numbers ........ it may be worth your drive ....

Sup woow I got my TL from Crest. They gave me a pretty good deal 33.5 considering there were only 2 6spd Navi's in OH, NY and PA in June 04 when I got mine, both of which were on thier lot. Holtz is a waste of time IMHO, they won't budge on prices, I can't stand them, won't even take my car there unless its for warranty work - If u can get any of them down to 33k 6spd/navi then go for it, get the kit painted from acura of las vegas for $800 and hook it up u'd be all set. I talked to crest guys again today and asked for 34500 with the body kit he said he will check and let me know and then I got caught up on work when he phoned? Yeah maybe thats the best I should try for 33,000 without the body kit? and then try the kit from las vegas. I was kinda wondering if they give it for 34500 for 06 go for it because lets say I get it 33,000 + 800 (LV body kit) + shipping + fixing charges would come up to about 34 100 or something... So i guess 34500 is a good price with the full body kit...

yeee guys I feel happy i am getting a good deal.. yeah JOHN HOLTZ what can I say ..

Phoned all 4 places and these are the prices with 06 with Navi with full body kit ( not the A-spec)

By the way I am looking to get it for 34,500

Rochester -- 35,500
Albany -- Will match 35,500 nothing less
Syracuse -- No way for 35,500
Buffalo -- (35,500 says this is an awersom deal and should go for it)

I have no idea man I feel I am paying too much for if i do for 35,500......( I mean not that TL is worth it but you know getting the best deal would make it GOLD )

So please give your ideas ....it will be so much helpful.... as this the first new car I am buying.

Guys I did check the prices with the john holtz here again... and I made the guy sink....because he told me it cost 1900 for the full body kit and he said and gave 35,500 with the body kit..

So I called now and said I do not want body kit and I will get it from Acura Las Vegas and gave the prices... So he did not have any excuses. So he is willing to do without the body kitt for 33,600... even

So I guess I should go for it eh?????

will think of getting the body kit once I get the car from Acura las vegas... can some one give how the service of Acura las vegas????

sounds like a good deal to me, i would take it at 33,600 cause after that its nickle and time crap. just try and make them throw in stuff like wheel locks, trunk tray, and rubber floor mats, might be beneficial as it probably snows alot in rochester and this will save u lots of stains on your regular mats. This stuff cost the dealer almost nothing but makes the deal a little sweeter for u. i have not dealt with acura of las vegas but all responses from this board have been positive, i would not worry about their service.

I am thinking of getting the RonJonWheels body kit instead of normal one because that would be so cool... it would be so nice in Rochester since I have not seen anyone having it around here... Thanks so much for the help man you guys really helped me...
