Now THIS is Service ....
I recently took my '04 TL NBP in to have the summers taken off and the
snows mounted at the dealer we have been using since the car was new.
I, like many others on this board, tell the service department to skip
the complimentary wash after they service the car. Well, DOH!, this time I forgot
the NO WASH, and when they brought the car out of the service department they
had washed the car and left it looking like a 10 year old beater. Fault here is mine.
I did not mention this at the time, but yesterday,I finally got around to completeing the
on-line service follow up I was handed at the time the car was finished
and mentioned of the swirl marks, and how to prevent them (100% COTTON ONLY)
Got a call from the dealer today and they have graciously credited our account
with a free exterior detail and polishing to remove the swirl marks. No questions
asked. So... Kudos to "Acura on Brant" in Burlington on this one.

Its nice to hear that some places/businesses actually still "get it". So many times it seems like the customer service industry is slipping (or off-shoring) it is nice to hear the examples where it still exists....now...if they would only trace it backwards a little more and actually do a good job washing the car in the first place, then that would be even better...but since they did you right by offering to fully detail - then that is at least a step in the right direction

smart.. do you know how much one of those exterior detail kits costs by itself? the previous owner took my car through a number of rough washes, shows up really bad on the NBP
