Stopped by Thomas Acura the other day and saw the only 07 TL on the lot. It was the new metallic beige color, (AM is much better) . It didn't really impress me at all. Yeah the lights on the mirrors are ok, but overall is basically the same car as the 05-06 TL. Isn't the 08 TL supposed to be a redesigned TL ? After seeing the 07, I'm waiting till October 2007 to trade in my current 05 TL for a 2008 TL. Anyone else feel this way? I'd like to create a message board Poll but I don't know how do it. Anyone who knows how to do one want to make one?

2008 model will be almost identical, 2009 is the redesign.

The 4th gen TL most likely is not out till 2009 if you follow the current acura pattern for this model........with a possible type s three years latter.


If you get an 08 it is likely the same car as the current 07 TL.

Yeah, I probably did expect too much. Looks like in October of 2008, I'll get the newly redesigned TL. Geez, I wonder how much my trade in value will be at that time.... Decisions.. Decisions....

The 4th gen will be a very exciting release. Im looking forward to seeing the 2nd gen TSX to drop so then we can have a clue of what the TL will look like. Is the new TSX coming out in early 07 or end of 07?

I ordered a black on black TLS auto about a month ago .. and my dealer has been very unsuccesful in finding me one and then the more I looked at it the less appealing this car really was for me therefore I placed an order Monday for a black on black 07 bmw 335i coupe when the new designed tl comes out w/ awd I may come back to Acura.. but not unless they do something very impressive a la NO MDX or RDX styling!!! SO I SAY WAIT!! my

I saw the blue Type-S and I like it. My mind is not made up yet on the 07. The main thing holding me back is wondering what the next gen TL will look like. Vtec.net has the next gen scheduled somewhere around 2008.

I've been very happy with my 07 Type S. I believe it's a great improvement from my 06. I realize there will be a re-design for 2009 model year but cars are always changing. So I don't hang my hat on that (unless I'm look at a car during it's last model year before a change).
