Thunderhill is about 1 hour north of sacramento and has the best prices on track days- with a pro race driver as your in-car coach! about $250-300 per full day

As you gain experience with more days- you move to faster run group and no instructor onboard required- but they are worth their weight in knowledge and abilty to help you be smoooooooth - to go fastfastfast

Look on each tracks websites for school/car club links-
look in the track schedule for each day- see club names and look them up, not all are advertisers on the websites, but are in the links or find them by name
Thunderhill has its own class they run-HPDE, high performance driving experience,
several car clubs rent the facility for class days and allow other makes of cars,,, mini owners invite all, TEAM -track experience allota miatas~ invites everyone

Its cheaper than any speeding ticket, and you learn more in a day than in all your years of driving!

For east coast look up HookedOnDriving, thats a private class club that does days,
and socal look up Buttonwillow raceway- often 150 dollar days there

Be warned- I did a track day in 1984, next year went to SCCA school and competition license- raced until there was not a penny left on the floor

Now- track days are more actual high speed on-track time for less money, more fun- because safety is formost, no one trying the desperate pass and stuff you into the weeds- it doesnt happen...

May I add- thanks to everyone who takes it to the track- where it belongs!
The TL will amaze you- get a cusco lower frame brace and beef up the front brakes- you are ready to go

A great track for you to take your TL-S is infineon raceway in sonoma which is about 40 min north of san francisco. I used to live in sonoma for years and go to that track all the time for 1/4 mile events. They have plenty of track events so go online and check out their schedule.
