No power on power outlets
Just tried using the power outlets. No juice! Tried both the front center console and the console box. dead. Check fuse #9 (according to the manual). Fuse is good. What is strange though is that the fuse #9 gets 12 Volts even if the key is not in the ignition. Most power outlets are wired for ACC & ON use. Are the power outlets really on fuse #9?
Any ideas? I guess it is another item for my trip to the dealer.
1. Battery cover loose. Clip broken.
2. No power to power outlets.
3. Stripped rear license plate nuts.

Is this the case on the 04 TL? Since this is the first time for me to use it and it is broke, I can't tell if it is wired for constant on. Can anyone verify if it is fuse #9.

an Acura has-been
The power outlets are not constant on, they go on and off with the key.
The are both powered from the same branch circuit, so it could be a loose connector up stream, or a bad ground.
It is fuse number 9 per the shop manual. The fuse is rated 15A.
There is a connector for this behind the compartments for the console, that connects to the harness to the fuse box.
Make sure that you are checking fuse 9 by double checking that the fuse rating matches.

TL-SHAWD 6MT Rocks!
Had the same syntoms...no power on the outlets (boths) with the car running...
my fuse blew up (overloaded) by connecting a power inverter with XBOX, 9 " TV and DVD Player...
In Pensacola (where I was , there are no ACURA dealers, so the Honda dealer was nice to replace it for free!) It's the 3rd fuse from right to left on the botton row, on the driver's kick panel. The door slides out nicely!

Update. It seems that both my phone charger and GPS power plugs don't connect well in my Acura outlets. I have to use my power splitter first then plug my phone charger and GPS to my splitter. Weird. My phone charger works well on my Accord and Montero.
Anyhow, there is power to my outlets. It is just picky as to what plugs into it. One less item to report to the dealership tomorrow.
