Smile Nice looking car

This morning I was filling-up my WDP 05 TL at Shell station when a guy pulls into the next lane of gas pumps from the one I am using for my car.

When he gets out of his GMC SUV, he looks at my car and yells over to me, "Nice looking car!". I said "Thank you".

As we were filling-up, he comes over to me asking if this is the Acura TL. He complains that his wife's BMW 5 series is so expensive when it comes to maintenance. He said that he and his wife are looking at the TL and that TLs are really sharp looking cars.

I told him that the TL comes fully loaded. You only have to choose manual or automatic transmission and navigation system or non-navigation system. Of course you have the dealership add-ons as options.

As he walked away he repeated "nice looking car". The only thing I could think to say is "Thank you".

Made my day.

Happens to me quite often , other night at the gas station i parked to buy a pack of smokes. As i come out (car was nicely washed, looked mint) two police officers are like "hey, is that your car" when i nodded yes they we're like "Really nice car"... Took my time getting out of the parking and they noticed how beatiful the interior of a NAVI tl is with it's lights alluminated and all.

That gave me a chuckle or two...
