NGK spark plugs from excelerate
#3
the NGK plugs come gapped BUT twice in my lifetime- both on this board no less, I heard of 1 of 6 plugs being wrong
Most likely mishandled at some point as they come in a protective cardboard cap,,,but things do happen
If you dont own the right guage- just eyeball them- if all the same apply a very thin layer of plug anti-sieze ($1 pack is plenty for all), just on the 2-3 middle threads
Dont want any getting pushing inside the engine.
this stuff helps the new plugs go in easy and be able to remove in another 70k miles~
correct torque is important~~

the coils are to be handled like fragile glass that cost $50 each
set each down gently on a towel when removed, internal damage is easy and will make the car run funny
I always sugest seafoam the gas and intake vac port before new plugs- so they have a clean home to work in

thats right- you cant use a normal plug gap tool to reset them- the electrode is super fine wire and should be at the correct gap
There is always margin built in too- gap spec may say .040-,045 and the plugs will be set .042--its so they work on many different cars
Like I said- if they are ok visually- meaning each looks horizontal on the end wire- they are set
