Newbie here w\ question regarding FAQ's

I have read the FAQ on the turning the Nav into a DVD player as well as ipod hookup. My question is this, most of those threads and DIY were posted in 2006. Are there any new products regarding either of those (NAV or iPod interface) that are currently better or is the 2006 items still pretty much standard regarding the products and any installation? I have an 08 TL Type-S and saw a Neo Ipod hookup through an ad on this website and it said it was fully integrated with Nav, but never saw it mentioned on this site.

You should go to the electronics forum and communicate with peripheral. They have a new wire harness out (but you have to request it from them--it's not yet for sale) that will work on your car and keep you completely functional. I don't think anyone else has retained full functionality yet--you lose something, even if the unit is fully integrated. (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...possible that Dice came up with something new...)

The thread you need is https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...635351&page=14

BTW, the peripheral hq is located in Tampa so you are in a good place! If you take your car to that guy he'll probably do everything for you! Really nice guy.

Just an FYI, don't post electronics questions here. They go in the other forum area. I'm sure this will be moved or locked eventually when the mods wake up.
