Newbie here!
Hi all!
This is the first forum I decided to lurk; liked what I saw and registered.
I haven't bought my TL yet but I've been on a serious hunt for the past few weeks... finding the right package is a colossal pain in the ass.
Looking for 6-speed + Nav, preferably a Type-S, under 75k miles and I do recognize my pickings are pretty slim. In a perfect world, I'll find exactly that in blue within 1,000 miles of my house in Cincinnati.
I've happily determined that a road trip to get the right car would be a delightful way to get to know my TL.
Look forward to interacting with folks!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
I hope it's sooner or later... had a company car for 5-6 years so had a beater at home that rarely was driven. Now that I have a new job, no car
So need something that looks professional yet quite hoonable.
I'll check the marketplace; appreciate the link!

Enjoy your stay here at AZ. Patient is key when looking for a TL. I remember when I was looking for my base NBP TL w/ Nav under 75K miles, it took me a while. I was patient and it paid off being patient. Good luck in your search!!

The biggest thing everyone has said is patience. I waited 6 months to find my type-s in the color I wanted at the price I wanted.
What might help in your hunt is to go to Acura's website and do a search for a dealer within a 1,000 mile radius of your location. Call up every dealer and get an e-mail contact with a rep and send a single mass email listing exactly what you want and how you want it.
Assuming you want a type-s state that you are looking for type-s only and will not settle for base or A-spec.
Odds are none of the dealers will have a type-s in inventory but most of the reps should be willing to contact you should one turn up in any of their lots.
A sales rep in texas located mine for me even though it wasn't at his lot, he was courteous enough to have found exactly what I was looking for. Drove 900 miles to pick up my TL-S and it was worth every mile. : )

just like everyone said contact to a sale rep and they willing to look for you, after I called my local acura dealer trying to buy an 08 NHP with 41k miles on it it was listed for $26K I think its too much but at the time I am crazy to get NHP color. One of the sale rep contact me later and ask if I was interested only with the Type S. He told me that he willing to go to the auction and get it for me, couple weeks later he call me and let me know that he has one just come in inventory but I beat him to it I already call and make an appointment to see it and eventually that Type S is in my garage now.

Good luck finding your car! If it's a Type-s you're after, the color is called Kinetic Blue Pearl. It's my favorite color ever offered on the 3G TL
