New Type S Owner
What's up TL Family,
Just picked up a 2008 TL Type S, and love it. Just wanted to ask if their are any odd or interesting things I should or need to know about the car. Only surprise at this point is I expected better MPG, car seems to drink like a Ferrari. Thanks for any info.

Welcome! With so much drama in the LBC it's kinda hard not to roll TLS
Is it Auto or Manual?
What color is it?
Any mods fom the previous owner?

Great car to drive, lots of power, and fun. It does go thru front brakes and rotors fast, though, and they get expensive. It can also chew up tires, depending on how aggressively you drive, tire on car, and lack of rotation.

Thanks guys,
The car is in Kinitec Blue, Auto, and bone stock with Navi.
Car came with the extended 7yr 100K powertrain warranty, wondering if I should pay the extra 1K for the 84mths 100K bumper to bumper? Car has 41K miles on it and I have till tommorow to decide.

Welcome Lakers-enjoy your ride. The only odd thing you'll notice is that your wallet will always be thin-if you intend on doing a lot of mods to your Type S....

Thanks everybody,
First day of work was fun rolling through town. Had a fellow TLS (Bronze) roll up on me that was all hooked up and he gave a head nod, then sped away. For the most going to drive the car like an old fart because I swear that fuel meter just falls too fast. Trip cpu says im pulling 32 mpg on highway though, guess I shouldnt complain.
