new to the TL's with some questions

hey everyone, i picked up a 2006 TL with 60k miles, 6mt with 17" wheels and brembo's.

i love the car it's fully loaded with navi/leather/sunroof/bluetooth. etc

when i got the car it had bad tires and a really horrid alignment. I got 4 new tires (conti DWS's) and a 4 wheel alignment.

ok so here's my question.

I have a very weird issue with vibrations in my cab. It's bad at first when driving once i get to about 25 mph and up. Once the car warms up it will go away about 90%, but i can still feel it on the highway and even cruising roads around 40 mph.

The vibration is felt through the seat mostly and slightly through the steering wheel.

things i've done to try and correct this issue are.

i road forced all my new tires myself.
i checked the alignment myself after it was done to ensure it's was spot on.

things i'm wondering if people have seen problems with
-motor mounts
-tie rod/ball joints
-bent axel's

thats all i can think about the check since i know the car has a proper alignment.

hopefully someone can help me

thanks and hope i can help out in return!

Most likely motor mounts. I'm starting to have the same vibrations.

i'm not new to cars, and i've been tuning and modifying cars for some time now. i've never seen motor mounts cause a problem, but then again i've never seen a motor mount go bad in anything other then RWD cars.

reccomendation for upgrades. want something streetable, don't need solid motor mounts anymore

It could also be a slight bend in the rim...

I brought a CPO TL a few years back and had a horrible vibration. After dealing with the Service Department for a few months the finally put new wheels on and the vibration was gone. After all was said and done Acura ended up taking the car back because of all the other issues that I had with the car.

Good luck...

i know the wheels are good, i road forced the wheels myself. the road force machine puts pressure on the wheels when they balance them and if the wheel is bent or the tire has a bad cord, then the machine would pick it up. I did it myself so i know they are ok
