I wish I could made up some sob story for karma but yeah, it was that bad. The clutch that was on the car when I bought it was installed facing the wrong way, if that gives you any idea that amount of care that was put into it.
But despite all the shit I drove 1800 miles without any issue, these cars are pretty sturdy.

I need to eat my words, cause there's more issues with it now.
I think when I'm done I'll add up the receipts and post the final bill.

So they knew how to drop the subframe and tranny, but not install the clutch in the right direction??? I assume it didn't even go into gear when you bought it?

No it went into gear and ran just fine, the plate looked a lil charred but nothing serious. Just lack of attention to detail and obviously someone who didnt take pride in their work.
