They're now listed on the Rain X website. It uses a synthetic (silicone?) rubber, so it might actually be very close to the performance of a PIAA or Silblade.

"Factory installed on Lexus, Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Subaru and Toyota vehicles"

I wonder which Acuras they're on? All of them?

I picked these up at Wal-Mart, and they are great. Much better than my previous latitudes. They create no noise, and they work great.

Long term longevity does not seem too good, I've had them for around 4 months and I've noticed streaking already. Back to PIAA! BTW I'm in Vancouver BC so it's usually raining.

i was finally able to pick up a set.

i purchased them using separate transactions so i could send out 2 rebates (i can use my parents address with my name and my own address with my wife's name) and end up only paying $0.48 + tax for both after rebates.

just got a pair of these after reading this thread, these things are awesome, they clean the windshield flawlessly, they also are super quiet you can't hear them in the slightest, plus like others mentioned they also look pretty cool too. Thanks for the tip.

We have an annual rainfall here of less than 8 inches. I hardly ever use my wiper blades.

I do use rain-x bug fluid in my work truck though. Plus if you use rain-x on your windshield when you go to clean it the bugs come off a lot faster. I usually wipe down the back glass as well so that water runs down and you can see with your mirror.

I use the cheapest ancos on my van and truck because I get about 2 uses out of them before they dry out so bad they start falling apart.

My stock wipers seem to hold up. I have used them twice in the year I have owned my car.

Lol exactly.

I wipe them down every time I wash the car. And then every time I wax I put a little bit of 303 on them.

I e-mailed them and here is their response.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting ITW Global Brands. The Rain-X Fusion blades have only been in the market since the first quarter of 2012. This type of hybrid blade technology is what you will find installed on the vehicles you mention below. Actual Rain-X Fusion blades are not factory installed on the vehicles, the same technology is what you will find.

Please let us know if there is something else that we can help you with, and we would be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,
ITW Global Brands

I can't find the Fusions in any autoparts store in my area!! Was even on page 3 of Google without a single store hit so far. Elusive wiper this Fusion.
Will get the Bosch Icon on the way home. Available everywhere!!

I had these. they went bad after 1 month.

Went back to OEM, and after 1 year still going strong.

OEM all the way.
