New Product Testing Coming Soon : Bracing for your TL

Hey there, we placed an order for some braces from a company that makes some great stuff for TSXs. We got some Accord parts coming that will be promptly tested on a TL for fitment. More details coming soon. I'll probably post something to the Heeltoe Facebook Fan Page as soon as we get some info on it.

I am guessing lower tie bar or some sort of underbody chassis bracing.

Very Interested! Saw a thread awhile back with the underbody brace for the TSX, that someone managed to fit with some modifications on a TL. Don't know the outcome of it, if any good? Good Luck and keep us posted.

Hey, assuming this is going to go through...and it is what we think it is...any chance you can offer the tubing to be foam-filled?

I hope its not like that brace in the picture above. That would kill my ground clearance!

Adds rigidity to the chassis to minimize flexing.

I bet you less than 10% of the 3G TL owners on here will actually need this. Good thing the aftermarket mods for our cars are so limited, maaaany more will pick it up

Say you wanna start Auto-xing your TL. Never hurts to have bracing. The less flexing the better the handling.

The more rigid the chassis is the better it allows the suspension to do its job.

Yeah I understand what the bracing is for, but does the TL need such a thing? I know Fox body mustangs use bracing when they start to get more than 450 ft.lb torque because it will twist the chassis. So that's why I'm confused. I'll just be patient and wait for more info from heel toe and maybe the actual pics of the thing will explain it more to me as to why the TL would benefit from this.

I FINALLY got these parts test fitted!!!!

There are sill braces, a rear 4-point brace, a forward and a front cross member brace...

This is going to be sick guys. Promo being announced shortly.

The chassis in any car is subject to twisting just sitting on the ground. Harder cornering and uneven surfaces exacerbate the problem. The TL, while a rigid car, certainly can benefit from additional bracing. It might be hard to believe but it makes a very noticable difference in driving accuracy and confidence.
