New owner...2006 TL....a few questions

I recently became the new owner of an '06 TL. The car is in amazing shape and condition other than one minor issue I have come across. I have noticed at times, randomly, the clutch (its a 6-speed manual) pedal upon shifting, when I release the pedal it comes back up really slow. I had somewhat of a similar issue with my Civic a few months back in which it ended up being the slave cylinder. If anyone might know of any possibilities or if that is most likely the issue, I would greatly appreciate the advice. I would also like to change the intake and exhaust. Where would be a good place to look for some?

Cant help you with the clutch question as I have an auto, however try these websites for exhaust and intake. They are all vendors here on this site for our cars.

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/

http://www.uniquestyleracing.com/

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...e/b-10668.aspx

And if you need anything OEM, or an aspec kit, here is a great place to get it for usually ~25% cheaper than the dealer!

http://www.oemacuraparts.com/

This is also a great place to start- the 3G garage-

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-garage-faq-3g-tl-newbies-553554/

There are hundreds of useful topics covered in this section.

But of course your best bet is to search. Try a search using google such as site:tl.acurazine.com

By putting site in front of the word it narrows it down to just our site as the search feature on this forum sometimes can leave something to be desired.

To post pictures you can try uploading them to a image hosting site such as photobucket and then copying and pasting the link with the phrase [IMG] before and after it. Good luck!

When I bought my car at 31k miles, it displayed a sticky clutch.
I would do a HIGH RPM run, and the clutch would stick or SLOWLY come back up.

I tried lots of solutions before replacing the clutch.
nothing helped short of changing the clutch

I like it. Nice color and you already have A-Spec, wheels, lowered, trunk spoiler...

Get those exhaust ports cleaned up. Try Mothers polish.

I wasn't sure if it is lowered or not. I looked at the springs/shocks, and they look stock. But the way it sits, with the 19" wheels even, it does look as if it has been lowered. Will have to investigate further though. As far as the clutch issue though, I am going to have a family member who is a mechanic take a look at it.

What clutch setup did you go with?
