New Member! Coming from a BB6
Hi guys,
Name is Jon or calimurse on here, just turned 22 live is Los Angeles CA. Just bought a WDP 06 Tl. Looking forward for the next years with this, coming from a BB6 or 5th gen honda prelude. I like to keep it clean here are some pics of my old car.
My plans for the next six months for the Tl are
New Speakers
Aspec kit
Visors
Switch Taillights
Lower a tad not a huge drop done with the extreme low life
Fog with retro projectors from the 03-05 accord i believe from searching here
Headlight Projector lens swap
Tint
Type S little spoiler

Thanks man! Yeah really like keeping it simple and clean. The TL really reminds me of a 4 door prelude, and WDP all the way. I was at the dealer and almost settled for NBP, no offense to the black but it doesn't do it for me like the white does!

Thank you! that was a money pit because I bought it auto and didnt know about the tranny issue honda had with the ludes, broke and did an auto to mans trans conversion. Yes, this is going to be a major money pit just because I know I am going to have it for a while. I have one big idea that I have not seen anyone do that I want to try after I get the first list done.

I don't know whether you mean the full A-Spec kit or just the A-Spec under spoiler kit, but since you have mentioned lowering, I guess you are talking about A-Spec struts or aftermarket coilovers.
If so, I suggest you to take Tein Street Advance (or older generation equivalent Super Street) into concern. These are reliable and performance oriented coilovers. They focus on cornering ability and straight line stability instead of merely slamming a car. Tein's electronic damping force controller allows you to run on higher damping, thus have an impressively responsive and firm ride (which is the only real reason I recommend these over those with non-adjustable coilovers).
For long term review, see:

For comparative review across Tein Basic/SS/stock, see:

Yeah man reliable and the h22a could get up there. Not that proud to say this anymore but I once hit 150mph in the lude how dumb. I was thinking of switching to a 4th gen I really like their body style in the front but I found my car! Got any pics i would like to see them!

Thanks man, ahhahha what is daddys dojo
Nice and clean man! I had a decent sound system in my car too that is why the tl sound system isn't cutting it going to be one of the first things I replace.

Yeah it was so common that it was a breeze to find someone who could do the conversion I got extremely lucky finding someone who totaled their lude and had all the manual parts and just bought a Jdm tranny and was set

Nice lude. I just about picked up a 5th gen when I was looking at upgrading from my 6th gen Accord. The H22 sure put out compared to the F23, especially whenkicked in yo! But I certainly don't regret holding out for a 3rd gen TL.
You'll probably find that there's limited mod potential with the TL but the support that is out there is pretty high quality. "You have to pay to play" is a common theme around here. There's a lot of ponies that can be freed up in the exhaust especially, and I'm a big fan of the "TL diet". The TL is a pig at about 3500 lbs. Dropping even a few hundred pounds in wheels, exhaust and waste can make a big difference.
Did I miss if yours is auto or manual?

Congrats Welcome to AZ! Check out the 3G garage for tons of info. Also register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there. Check for any recalls your TL may need.
