hello fellow azine members! i joined azine months ago but never used the site until now! i'm at about 35.000 km and i wanted too know if its time for me to change my brakes. (not so great with cars)

what sort of brakes kits is avaiable for a 2005 Acura TL (auto) ty!

Welcome and nice ride Wouldn't think you'd be due for brakes at 35K Km but just pull a front wheel and inspect the pad thickness/rotor. The stock brakes are unimpressive, so that may lead you to believe you have a problem. Hell, my F-350 Crew Cab with drilled/slotted rotors and Carbon Kevlar pads has better brakes than my 06 5AT....and it weighs 7200 lbs and rolls on 38's

seems like your in need of a drop.

brake wise you have a few options, Rotora, Stoptech, Brembo (cost more than Rotora and stoptech though) and one member has Project Mu

ya you're right the brakes on my car is pretty bad -.- (starting to squeek)

i would drop but im getting rubbage with 2+ passengers in the car.. so i dont think i'll be able to drop it anymore =[

is there any specific parts i have to change for the brakes or should i just buy the whole kit

You can either buy a kit....if your looking to upgrade or just buy replacement pads. Welcome to AZ

Some people have Hawk or EBC pads. I'm running EBC Red Stuff... my rotors aren't happy. Haha

i recently bought r1concepts premium rotors and pads. hoping to get them installed this weekend. the rotors on my 05tl are horrible.

guessing im just going to go with the replacement pads and rotors
there is not much i can really do too this ride in vancouver. BC compared to you guys down in the states correct?

lol i'm ready to spend money but there isnt any place locally to waste my money on.. im really feeling all the clear headlights on this site, anyone on here knows a place to do it locally (vancouver. bc canada) if you do let me know!!

thanks alot lols, well im actually from surrey but not many people know what surrey is. (thats not from BC) hmm i was lookin at your profile and i was just wondering if you did the clearing for your headlights by yourself or did you get a shop to do it?
