New GMSFM part #, assorted sundries
So...back to Criswell Chevrolet to return the synchromesh trans fluid they sold me instead of the GMSFM. The Ac Delco part number, 10-4014, and the GM part number, 88900399, didn't work at the dealership or gmpartsdirect.com. Props to a parts kid named Drew for getting out the GM lubrication manuel and looking it up by hand. The GM part number is 12377916, $11.45 a quart.
Anyone used Amsoil Power Foam? You disconnect the intake tubing and spray it directly onto the throttle body. I used it on my 93 Accord Coupe at 140,000 miles and the black smoke blew out of the exhaust big time. I guess it was dirty. After that I used it every 15,000 miles with almost no smoke. Is this stuff needed on the 04 TL? I am going to use Redline SI-1, which Roadrage prefers to Amsoil Performance Improver, in the fuel tank and wonder if I need to clean the throttle body with Power Foam.

Not a Blowhole
I would suggest you be quite careful with Amsoil power foam (sounds like a deranged shaving cream commercial).
1) You do not need it as a routine maintenance item. if you need it, the car will have a lumpy idle, like a hot camshaft produces
2) There is a molybdenum coating on the throttle body that must not be removed - using a product uncertified by Honda is playing dice with an expensive item. There are approved TB cleaners, but if it aint broke, why fix it?
