New dash on the way
After months of staring at my dash and all its defects on and around the passenger airbag, I finally decided to get it replaced. The defects took the satisfaction out of a top notch car.
I will let you guys know how it turns out. The dash should be in next week and I should have it done the following week.
Any advise? Wish me luck.

Can you please post before and after pics? I've heard of people having problems with the dash due to the passenger air bag but I have never seen pics of the damage.

I just sent you a PM with one piece of advice based on a co-workers experience. Please keep me posetd as I am in exactly the same boat as you are. I am scheduling a mtg with the DSPM to have him look at the dash. My only fear is rattles afterwards.
