Just picked up my 08 TL Type S with 31k miles. I was gunning for a 6spd but that's a hard find these days and I still have my S2k to play with. This will be my daily driver so I guess the auto isn't so bad after all. I must say that so far, I am very happy with my decision. I like the CBP and Ebony/silver combo. so anything that a TL newb should know right away?

I would say change over to GM syncromesh but you went auto.

And I agree, the TL-S 6MT are very rare as I also had to settle for an auto. Great car either way imo.

I do miss driving a manual at times...
