Thumbs up New to the board :)

Hello all,

My name is Justin, and I must say I am very impressed in the amount of knowledge on this board. I have lurking around these boards for a couple of weeks and I finally signed up.

That being said I recently had my 2004 Civic totaled out by another driver. (view accident pics here ) - that put me in the market for a new car. Being as I just started a new job, and it was a new year, it was only fitting I get the car I've loved for years. The end result... a 2004 Acura TL non-navi at a price I could not refuse.

I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm known across a number of car audio boards on the net - and I'm sure acurazine will be another forum that I will frequently visit.

These pics are from when I had the car with dealer plates still. The dealer let me drive it for a week prior to delivery... I used to profesional detail so once the weather improves here in Ohio I'll get her detailed and get better/newer pics. So for now enjoy:

All the above planned so far, plus deadener. I plan on turning this into an IASCA car so we'll see what the future holds.

Hi! Welcome!

Sounds good! Now before you throw all that goodness in your TL, gut the trunk and the lid, and dynamat the hell out of it Also, I would recommend making your own wooden enclosures for the component speakers....man it will sound hot!

All the best, peace

The whole car from headliner to carpet will be gutted with an entire pictorial walk-through planned as well as all my installs are done. I have done many installs in the past and this will be done the same way. For deadening I will be using a combination of liquid, butyl mat, and closed cell foam. The trunk install will most likely incorporate a stealth 5 channel amp and a single 12 all under a false floor composed of fiberglass and MDF. The goal of the system is to look completely stealth, sound amazing, all while not breaking the bank.

Look here for the some after pictures of what my install will be similar too.

That's a very nice set-up, just hating the components speakers constricting the the floor space...And I need my spare tire, but stealth is a great idea

Make sure to take pics when you install

Good Luck
