I'm in lust, what a coupe! Yes, I've been under a rock and didn't go to the car show so I just saw the new 6 series today. Wow, kudo's to BMW on a wonderful design. The tail lights could be different but still, damn what a sight! I showed it to the wife who HATES BMW and even she thought it was stunning...

Hmmmmmmmmmm as I look in the driveway, damn that TL is stunning! Maybe the wife will let me trade her RSX...... :think:

I saw it on the street.....I didn't like the sedan, but the coupe convertible was very sleek looking...I'm sure it also has a lot of new technologies....I still like the TL better, plus I might be able to afford it someday.

I do not think there is a sedan in 6 serie. Only coupe hard top and convertible.

I like all the new exteriors except this new "trunk" theme they're running. They all look like they got the wrong body parts on them The interior is really nice but is those silver parts aluminum or plastic? If it's plastic...I dunno if it belongs front and center in a $70K car. In some of the pictures, it sorta has the profile of a late 90's 911...the trunk looking like the ole whale tail.

I am glad the person who started this thread likes the 645Ci, but I do not like the trunks on any of the new BMWs, I think the styling is way way way too silly.

Guys:

I love my TL, but this is such an apples and oranges comparison. That 6 series car is stunning and loaded with goodies. $35K more! I hope it has nicer leather, wood instead of plood and handle better. It doesn't have a better sound system though.

Anyone catch the news this weekend that Mr Bangle has been moved out of design ?? "And it's not due to the criticism of design features lately", but the was moved one up in mgmt.

Maybe that god-awful Toyota-Avalon trunk will go away.
