New Acura owner......again....

Just got home with my 2005 WDP TL 5AT. Got one hell of a deal and the owner took me to lunch, gave me the all season floor mats and stuck the rear deck lip on for $200. Anything major i need to know or do to get her broken in? Loving it....again.....

Don't stick in the same MPH too long...

Congratulation... wish you would spend some quality time to review your owner manual.

Welcome...

There are many threads on the proper break-in of your new toy...

Do a search and thee shall be enlightened. Follow your manual and read up as well!

Short story:

- Take it easy on the brakes for a while to "bed" them in correctly (not at the expense of causing an accident however!)
- listen to the MID regarding oil changes... there are TOMES of knowledge on this that can be searched on
- personally, I took it easy on the engine (no hard accelerating, no high rpms) for the first 1000 miles. I am now at 1800 and drive "normally"

CONGRATS AND ENJOY

(now go.. SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH, READ READ READ) and see you in... 20 hours or so!

Easy on the brakes for the first 200 miles, don't go above 5,000 rpms or 80 mph or full throttle acceleration for the first 600 miles.....After that, sky's the limit!!!
