New Acura Owner
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a new Acura owner. I have always been a Honda guy and wanted an Acura. So I bought a 2006 Acura TL with 6MT with 49k miles from my Aunt and Uncle. It is very clean and I hope to get some photos up soon. I have no plans on doing any mods for sometime. Just regular maintenance and such.
Going from a 99 Civic to a 2006 TL is dramatic to say the least in just about every category. Civic can be easier to park, but I am fairly certain parking the TL will not be an issue after a week or so.
Only issues I have noticed on the car is some slight dash fading/lines which have been extensively discussed on this forum.
Right before I bought the car my my Aunt took it to the dealer to have them check it out and they replaced the PS pump as the mechanic thought it might have problems in the future. Part of the exhaust was also replaced by the dealer about a year ago as it was causing the check engine light to come on (not entirely sure what was going on). Generating some code about low quality fuel, even though the car has only had premium fuel in it.
I have been looking for a maintenance schedule with no luck, I guess I will just buy a book.
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi Stephen, welcome. I'm new too. It's worthing investing in a repair book but if you look in the 3g garage, there might be enough for maintenance. What color is your TL? mine is white and the bumper paint do not match the body very well
