New Acura Owner!!
Hi everyone,
I joined this forum a while back when I first started seriously considering a TL. I'm happy to announce I am now a new owner of a 2008 Nighthawk Black Pearl Type-S. Black interior, automatic. I've owned a few Hondas over the years but this is the first Acura for me.
The car is really starting to grow on me. The car I replaced with the TL was a 2007 Infiniti M45 Sport. That car was amazing on paper but ultimately failed to capture my heart. I think the TL is much more representative of my personality. I forsee myself being very happy with it.
Besides getting the windows tinted, I'll probably install some Tein SS coilovers in the near future. I also recently purchased a Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 and will start stockpiling some other stereo equipment and make some serious upgrades to the audio system. I'm super excited!!

I'm a new TL Type S owner and new to this forum as well.
Hi guys. I just found this forum from a close friend and am really enjoying it. I just bought an Acura TL Type S on new years day. I paid $32, 500 for my silver Type S. It's an interesting story...had a terrible car accident 2 days before Christmas. They totaled my Chrysler Sebring convertible, so I needed another car. I found a dealership on Cars.com in Chicago that had a 2008 TL for $32,500. I took it to my local Acura dealership and said, "here's the price I want. Otherwise, I'm going to Chicago and driving this '08 TL home." They said they couldn't match the price, but they just got an '07 TL Type S with 700 miles on it. They said, "If we match the price of the Chicago dealership, would I buy the '07 Type S?" I jumped on it !! It's silver with the 2 tone seats. I added mud flaps, locking lug nuts and a trunk tray. Having a great time driving it.
